Privacy, in plain English.

What this site collects when you get in touch, why, who it goes to, and how to ask for it to be changed or removed.

Who this notice covers

This notice explains how Ray Breslin handles personal information collected through raybreslin.com.

It applies to this website only. The businesses linked from this site, such as Core Creations and Network Infinity, have their own privacy policies.

What is collected

Enquiry and callback forms

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, phone number, your website address or business name, the type of help you need, your timeframe and your message. The callback form asks for your name, phone number, a good time to call and what it is about. Both forms also record which page you sent them from.

Phone and email

If you call or email, Ray receives whatever you choose to share, along with your phone number or email address.

Booking a call

The "Book a 15-minute call" links go to Calendly, which collects your booking details under Calendly's own privacy policy.

Website analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use it. It runs only on raybreslin.com itself. It records pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and a small set of actions: clicking to call, clicking to email, clicking or completing a Calendly booking, clicking a link to another website, and sending an enquiry form. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. It does not receive the content of your enquiry.

Why it is collected

  • To reply to your enquiry or call you back.
  • To work out whether and how Ray can help, and to quote or plan any work you ask for.
  • To understand which pages are useful, so the site can be improved.

Your details are not sold, and they are not added to a mailing list without your agreement.

Who receives it

Form submissions are sent through Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which passes them to Ray by email. Analytics data is processed by Google. Bookings are handled by Calendly. These providers may store information on servers outside Australia.

If your enquiry is about work delivered through Core Creations or Network Infinity, Ray may share the relevant details with that business so it can respond, and will tell you when that happens.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as they are needed to respond and to keep ordinary business records. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask and it will be removed unless it has to be kept for a legal reason.

Cookies

The only cookies set by this site are those used by Google Analytics on raybreslin.com. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Access, correction and complaints

Ray aims to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask to see the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted by emailing ray@corecreations.com.au or calling 02 9191 7381.

If you have a concern about how your information has been handled, raise it the same way first. If it is not resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
